A cat and mouse game has led to this moment: the confrontation
This is my oldest project on here and it might be the most technically simple one but I think it shows my roots and how I got to where I am. I made this in high school, the prompt was create a short film that takes place in one location with two characters. While initially I felt the prompt was too limiting, our writer had the idea of an interrogation and we took off from there. Soon afterwards someone found us this interesting abandoned location where we knew we had to set it.
On this shoot I was the director, which wasn’t my normal role of sound or producing. I was intimidated at first but quickly found that I didn’t have to provide every answer. I had a team that I could rely on and bounce ideas off of. My favorite idea I came up with was having our main character go down to eye level with the antagonist and continue the scene. This project in particular showed me that creating a piece of art on my level was possible and it is a high I have been chasing ever since.
