This shoot was for the basketball team at Our Lady of Mercy Academy in New Jersey. The client wanted some standard portraits of the girls as well as some team photos. But when reaching out they mentioned the girls were most excited about duplicating poses they had seen online. When I arrived to shoot they were so excited to bring these photos to life. Their energy was infectious and I found myself having to use every technique and tool that I could think of like having to tape basketballs to the girl’s fingers so they could look like they were palming it. This was a really fun shoot and I am proud of how these photos turned out.
